The artist, musician and TV personality Rolf Harris attended on both evenings. Rolf was very impressed by the choice of lithographic artworks from the Curwen Studio, and some of Wales's best known artists such as Donald McIntyre, Wilf Roberts, William Selwyn, Claudia Williams and Karel Lek. Previously unseen artwork by Sir Kyffin Williams drew attention, and particular interest was shown to the colourful glass work and sculpture by Rolf's wife Alwen Hughes-Harris - much of which was almost immediately bought by appreciative art collectors.

Galeri Ianto was highly praised by Rolf. He said,"I think that Sir Kyffin would have been thrilled to see an art gallery in his childhood home."
